Cyclists, cycle tourists & cycling holidaymakers
Cyclists & cycling holidaymakers
Our hotel's own rental bikes, drying room, lockable bike garage with power outlets for e-bikes, washing facilities, rental navigation devices and GPX/GPS files for various tours in Dümmerland, a bike repair shop, and our full breakfast buffet in the cozy breakfast room make our hotel especially cyclist-friendly.
For this, we received the Bed & Bike award from the General German Bicycle Club (ADFC).
We're happy to provide you with cycling maps of local and long-distance trails during your stay. We also have a navigation device available for loan for the Dümmerland circular tours. If you have your own navigation device, we'll be happy to send you the GPX/GPS data (please bring a USB cable).
If possible, we will also take care of your breakdown while you are on the road.

Road cyclists & mountain bikers
We were the first accommodation provider in Lower Saxony to receive the additional Bett & Bike sports award in October 2013.
In addition to the criteria for Bed & Bike establishments, we also meet the additional criteria for Bed & Bike sports establishments.
Additional features include: a theft-proof room for storing your sports bikes, weather information at reception, energy bars for a power lunch, detailed cycling-specific tours/tracks on a rental navigation device or as GPX/GPS files for your own navigation device, laundry service, bike washing area, an extensive service corner with good tools for free use, advice on tour selection, breakdown or pick-up service, GPS tours and equipment, a massage service directly in the neighboring building, and guided tours by the hotel owner available upon request.
For cyclists, we've compiled and digitized six beautiful circular tours. We've naturally taken the right trail conditions into account! You'll mostly ride on paved farm tracks between fields or paved bike paths along roads.
We've developed and digitized eight tracks for mountain bikers. Since our hotel isn't located directly on the mountain, however, you'll need to load your bike and drive to the starting points. Please note: Some of these tracks involve rough terrain and ups and downs!
